The Role:
We're looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting and collecting goods from various locations as the jobs dictate, whilst ensuring timely and safe delivery / collection.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Class 1 vehicles to customer locations as the job dictates in a timely and safe manner Load, unload, and secure cargo in line with safety procedures Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery records Work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence CPC qualification and digital tachograph card Proven experience in HGV driving roles Strong understanding of road safety and vehicle maintenance Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
