Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires proficiency in commercial driving and a focus on providing excellent service as a delivery driver. This Role is for WEEKEND/PART TIME POSITION

Duties

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transit. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members. A commitment to maintaining a clean driving record.
