Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated class 1 hgv tramper to join our team in Redditch, Worcestershire. The job entails collecting containers from various ports around the UK and delivering the goods to clients. Its a Monday to Friday role with weekend work if you want an extra day. Must have previous container experience and the relevant access cards to the ports. You will be given a dedicated truck which we expect you to look after and keep clean. Rolling in on a Saturday or out on a Sunday is paid as half day rate unless a full day is worked. Must hold a valid UK licence with no more than 6 points, NO DD or DR in the last 10 years will be accepted. This is a self employed role only we don`t offer paye. Must be able to write and speak fluent English. You will be liable for the first 500 if involved in an accident and any fines etc. A company jacket and T shirts are provided all other ppe is not provided. You will be left alone and classed as an adult and will liase with the container provider and the client. I dont need someone I need to mother just someone who will get on with the job in a professional manner.

Duties

- Drive vehicles such as lorries to transport goods
- Load and unload cargo
- Ensure timely deliveries of goods to designated locations
- Follow traffic laws and regulations
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues before and after trips
- Maintain accurate driving logs

MUST HAVE

- Valid Driving License

- Valid CPC

- 6 points max

- No accidents in the last 3 years.

- Be able to speak and write English.
