Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, and a strong commitment to delivering goods safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to traffic regulations.

Duties

Operate flatbed lorries for the transportation of goods to various locations. Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records as required by company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience as a delivery driver, particularly with flatbed lorries, is highly desirable. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and clients.
