Hgv Class 1 Driver
Job Description
W Maw Recycling Ltd are looking for HGV class 1 driver to join our existing team at our recycling processing site in Rotherham.
We are a general waste recycling company running Attics, 8 wheelers, Hook loaders and Skip trucks.
The job responsibilities for class 1 drivers will include:
Using Walking Floor Trailers and ejector trailers
Completing vehicle checks and defect sheets.
Ability to work to deadlines
Load checking and securing the loads before leaving site
40-50 hours per week.
Deliveries to Landfill sites and transfer stations.
What we are looking for:
Someone who is professional in appearance and manner
Good communication/ customer service skills
Previous Class 1 HGV would be an advantage
Has a valid full driving licence for HGV 1 / Class 1
Full valid CPC certificate
Clean licence
A sound understanding of driver's hours legislation

Experience:
driving: 2 years (preferred)

.You would have to wear a PPE.
Our site is fast paced and individuals need to work well on own initiative and as part of a strong team, to ensure work is been done to its optimum levels at all times. This is critical to our site operating to its best.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
