Job Description

As an HGV Driver, your role will include:

Undertaking driving duties including unloading of the vehicle, navigating the route, completing deliveries to meet operational standards and customer order requirements.
Drive and operate a Heavy Goods Vehicle (up to class 1) with full compliance to transport legislation including the requirements of the 'operator's licence (i.e. tachographs, vehicle checks, driver hours) in order to safely deliver customer orders.
Comply with training provided on operational duties, manual handling, mechanical handling and Health and Safety at work legislation, i.e. all company policies.
Communicate and update management on delivery activity, service levels and Health and Safety to achieve an effective distribution process.
Ensure all orders received by the customer are delivered maintaining quality. Complete relevant documentation/tasks.
Nationwide deliveries / may involve some nights out.
