Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver, where you'll play a vital role in transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. Your expertise in commercial driving will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. With your mechanical knowledge and experience in operating different types of vehicles, you'll contribute to our mission of providing exceptional service to our clients.

What you'll do

Drive commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, box trucks, and flatbeds, to transport freight to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery schedules while complying with all regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any potential issues on the road. Navigate routes efficiently while managing time effectively to meet delivery deadlines. Operate heavy equipment when necessary, including dump trucks and tow trucks, for specialized transport needs. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing our company's commitment to quality.

Basic qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in route driving with a focus on safety and efficiency. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and heavy haul operations. Background in warehouse operations or paratransit services is a plus.
