Job Overview

We have a rare vacancy available for a HGV Class 1 Tipper driver. We are seeking a reliable and skilled driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering crops to various locations approx. within a 150 mile radius from the operating centre. This role requires a full clean UK driving licence and experience in tipper is mandatory.

Requirements

Must be aged over 21 Must have valid driver card and CPC Must have previous tipper experience Must have full clean UK HGV Class 1 driving licence

Schedule

Monday - Friday and every 3rd Saturday only Between 55-65 hours per week approx. Overtime payable after 55 hours 21 days holiday per year + bank holidays

Responsibilities

Operate lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies.

Skills

Proven experience as a HGV tipper driver or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices. Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local routes. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
