HGV Class 1 Driver

About Us

HGV Class 1 Driver required for a position with a well-established packaging company in Shropshire. We are looking for an experienced HGV Driver with an excellent all-round knowledge of driving different types of vehicles. We operate a fleet of modern and well-maintained vehicles.

As a Driver working for Dairi-Pak Ltd you have an opportunity to deliver excellent service to our customers through hard work and dedication that is vital to meet our customers' expectations.

Role & Responsibilities

Delivering palletised packaging products to customer around the UK. Vehicle type will vary each day from artic to 18t rigid. Cover holiday and absence for Class 1. Working Monday to Friday on day shifts only. The work starts immediately. Hours will range each week but on average 40 hours per week. Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly. Complying with all relevant legislation and agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal working environment and consistent quality standards. Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base. Follow all delivery, collection and returns procedures.

Key skills & experience

Class 1 Licence (Cat C+E) Current CPC and digital driving card Clean Driving Licence and 2 years driving experience preferred Excellent communication skills Customer focused
