Job Summary
Due to growth, we are seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver to join our team as soon as possible.
Based out of Sittingbourne.
Set run home every night - Start around 5am finished up by 4pm.
5 days one week/6days the next - Can be flexible on days.
Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial vehicles Ensure all cargo is secured properly before transit and unloaded carefully upon arrival. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance logs. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during transportation activities. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays. Assist with loading and unloading goods as required, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed. Report any accidents or safety concerns immediately to management.
Requirements
Proven experience in commercial driving Valid driving licence suitable for operating large commercial vehicles (Category C+E or equivalent). Delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route planning and time management. Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for secure cargo transportation. Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and compliance documentation.

Pay: 43,000.00-45,000.00 per year
