ARRA Distribution Limited - An exciting and dynamic transport operation, applying our skills to the more demanding aspects of secondary distribution.

5 on 3 off Rota pattern or 4 on 4 off rota pattern

Start times varying between 03:00 - 08:00 and 15:00 - 20:00

Role Requirements:

Delivery of roller caged goods safely to the customer

Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure

Responsible for filling in the customer check sheets and report any defects to Office Team

Responsible for keeping the depot informed of any issues during the shift

Make deliveries to customers' premises, acting in a professional manner at all times, and observing site rules.

To act in a responsibly and safely responsibly on the road and customer premises at all times

Driving in a fuel-efficient manner

Able to move roller cages from vehicle to store, via use of a tail lift.

Ability to work at height on double decker trailers.

Be able to communicate well at store delivery points.

Knowledge and Experience required:

Should have proven experience in driving articulated vehicles, have good geographic knowledge of UK roads and ability to negotiate tight routes and delivery locations.

Hold an LGV C+E licence with an up to date CPC qualification for a minimum of

12 months

Possess a working knowledge of EU Drivers Hours Regulations and the Road Transport Directive regulations governing working time

Ability to work without direct supervision

Adaptable and methodical approach to work/ training

Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude

Ability to work efficiently and accurately

Must be multiskilled to cover both Store Deliveries and Trunking work depending on customer requirements

Pay: 170.00-220.00 per day
