We are seeking Class 1 bulk tipper drivers to join our team at Warnes Group Ltd for nationwide coverage across the UK based at our depots in KINGS LYNN and SLEAFORD.

Experience in a similar role is preferred, but we're open to training motivated candidates. If you're the right candidate but lack experience, we are committed to providing training to enthusiastic and dedicated candidates. Age is not a barrier as we and our insurance company are supportive of all age groups.

We offer competitive hourly pay rates, excellent overtime rates and additional allowances for meals and overnight stays.

Responsibilities:

Conduct pre-use vehicle inspections and maintenance checks on the HGV. Safely operate HGV vehicles, following traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols. Plan efficient routes considering traffic, road conditions, and customer requirements. Load and unload goods responsibly. Communicate effectively with the logistics team. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections and other required documentation. Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, and respect. Report incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions immediately to the appropriate authorities. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry best practices for HGV driving, safety, and customer service.

Requirements:

Valid LGV C+E driving licence and DQC (driver qualification card). Flexibility in working hours, including long hours, weekends, and regular nights out. Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability. Ability to work independently while also being part of a team environment.
