ROLE OVERVIEW
Class 1 (C+E) Duties:
Transporting trailers between sites and event locations
Use of
American-style trailer hooks
(training provided if required)
No manual handling - trailer-only work
Precision driving, often on production schedules with tight turnarounds
May involve overnight stays depending on the run
Class 2 (Cat C) Duties:
Moving
production sets and stage equipment
to film, TV, or live event venues
No loading/unloading - drivers strictly operate the vehicle
Straightforward routes but require good spatial awareness and professionalism

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum
1 year of Class 1 or Class 2 HGV experience
Valid
UK licence, CPC, and Digital Tacho card
Confidence handling large vehicles in busy or non-standard locations
Flexibility for occasional nights out (hotels/accommodation arranged when required)
A professional attitude and ability to represent the business to clients in the entertainment and events industry
