Seafast Containers Limited are seeking full time, permanent Class 1 HGV drivers.

About Seafast Containers

Seafast Containers Limited are an established, family run, container haulage company based within 10 minutes of Southampton Docks.

We specialise in container haulage across the country and our regular customers include blue chip companies, high street fashion retailers and DIY equipment.

What is in it for you?

Full time, permanent position. The working week is Monday-Friday, with overtime often available.

Your pay can range from 3,358.00 - 4,200.00 per month, due to our generous bonus scheme.

Monthly pay, with support offered if required.

24/7 on call support.

You will be assigned your own vehicle, which you are allowed to sleep in if this is more convenient for you.

Seafast pay for nights out when you run out of hours and have to sleep overnight in your truck.

What will you be doing?

Occasional nights out and early starts are required where you are expected to:

Safely operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to and from different locations, within the UK, at a time specified by the customer.

Follow all traffic and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure and any concerns are immediately reported.

Communicate effectively with the dispatcher and other team members.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.

Ensure that goods are secured properly and safely, at all times.

What requirements do you need?

It's essential that you have:

A full driving licence with, at least 6 months, HGV Class 1 experience

Valid CPC and Digi card.

It's preferable that the candidate has a DPWS card and experience with container haulage, but these aspects are not essential.
