Overview

We are seeking skilled and reliable Truck Drivers to join our logistics team. We have both night and day shifts available, as well as a tramping position. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial driving experience, and will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring that our deliveries meet customer expectations and adhere to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate a lorry unit to collect trailers and transport goods to various locations. Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to scheduled routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, prioritising safety at all times.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items and securing loads. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients..
