We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires expertise in commercial driving, with a focus on flatbed operations and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Operate a flatbed lorry to deliver goods to various locations in a safe and timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, promoting safety on the road. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to management.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) with a clean driving record. Experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed lorries. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
