Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and Multi drop class 1 Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting palletised goods safely and efficiently across various routes. around the greater manchester area This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition. Experience is preferred, but not essential , as full training will be given

Responsibilities

Operate a lorry in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all road regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Secure loads on , ensuring safety during transit. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by the company. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the job.

Experience

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills. ADR Licence is a bonus to be disscussed on interview
