HGV Class 1 Driver Trunking- Severnside





We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers on an

AD-HOC

basis at our busy Severnside depot. The role consists of deliveries to NDCs, RDCs and trunking work. MMID is part of a well-established and well known international dairy company with modern and well looked after fleet.



Immediate starts for successful candidates after passing assessment and Induction.



Shifts available:




Afternoon and Night Starts Days of work available-Friday and Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesdays. Other days in the week maybe available so flexibility is essential. This is ideal for someone looking for 2-3 shifts a week.

Day pay rates:




Monday - Friday 15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs 17.85) Saturday 17.85 Sunday and Bank Holidays 23.80

Nights pay rates:




Monday - Friday 18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs 20.39) Saturday 20.39 Sunday and Bank Holidays 27.19

30-minute break deducted per shift only!



What we are looking for:




In date DIGI and CPC card Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual. Willing to work weekends. Motivated and open to learn new skills. Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role:




Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules. Prepping vehicles for delivery. Completing vehicles checks. Refuelling vehicles. The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
