Job Description

We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our busy, well-established team based in Drumclog, South Lanarkshire. This role will include a mixture between Low Loader work and Tipping Trailer work.

The right candidate will be required to collect and deliver various items of plant and equipment by self-loading/offloading around the country, mainly Scotland but this occasionally may require travel to other parts of the United Kingdom. As an experienced driver we are looking for someone who holds the correct licences, has good customer service skills, and has a great can-do attitude.

Responsibilities include:

Load and unload Plant Equipment in the correct way

Maintain security of load when loading, transporting, and delivering machines

Carry out daily check on vehicle

Comply with legislation regarding vehicle safety, tachograph operation and working time

Accurately complete all relevant paperwork

Provide a high standard of customer care

Occasional nights out and weekend work may be required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
