Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires a Commercial Driving Licence and experience in operating flatbed vehicles. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties

Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy and compliant with safety regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policy and regulatory standards. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to management.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driving Licence (C+E) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with flatbed lorries. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good physical fitness for loading and unloading cargo as required. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
