Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our
team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods across
national routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of
customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle in line with legal and company requirements
Complete multi-drop or trunking deliveries (depending on contract)
Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Accurately complete paperwork and delivery notes
Maintain a professional and courteous manner with customers and colleagues
Adhere to driving hours and Working Time Directive regulations
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Current Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
Minimum 12 months of Class 1 driving experience required
Good understanding of driver regulations and road safety
Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 16.00 per hour
