We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with bulkers and Curtainsiders, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This role involves transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities

Operate bulk and curtainsided lorries safely and efficiently to deliver goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports as required. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably within fresh produce. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in driving. Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks as required. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service.
