Job Description

We are looking for experienced drivers with Class 1 licence, who are able to tramp out during the week (4 nights out Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu)

The Role

driving our Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner collecting and distributing waste and waste products across our areas of operation tramping out 4 nights per week and travelling across our territory as required liaising and communicating effectively with customers, members of the public and our team at J. Dickinson's completing and recording pre-use and after-use checks on the vehicle representing the company in an appropriate and professional manner at all times

What you need

valid Class 1 category driving licence proven working experience as a HGV driver, with a good driving record and no traffic violations previous experience working as a HGV driver in the waste industry would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided if you do not have this understanding of transport compliance and the Working Time Directive good written and verbal communication skills able to work proactively, independently and on own initiative

The Package

147.71 per day, plus meal and nights out allowance

Weekly payroll

Monday to Friday with 4 nights out required Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu
