Responsibilities:

Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and company regulations Transport goods and materials efficiently and securely to their destinations Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries, considering factors such as traffic, weather conditions, and load requirements Carry out pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any queries or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 license Up to date CPC Previous experience as an HGV driver, preferably in a similar role Driving record with no serious convictions or accidents Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws Strong attention to detail and good time management skills Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to do up to 5 nights out in the lorry if required
