HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver based in Heysham

Graylaw Heysham are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the punctual transport and delivery of goods. Comply with traffic and road safety regulations at all times. Keep in regular contact with the transport team regarding schedules and updates. You'll follow, promote and communicate the use of safe working practices in line with all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Company's procedures. 3 to 4 nights out per week Monday to Friday ..shift and start times to suit business needs Occasional Saturday run in - Sunday run out Uk deliveries on tautliner work "own truck" allocated in

Essential:

You'll have relevant driving experience. Having a flexible approach will be essential. You'll demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and professionalism. Delivering General cargo to variety of delivery points. Palletised goods or packs timber - wood pulp - waste etc.. Being proficient in all aspects of loading and securing goods to trailer in order to travel safely. A good geographical knowledge of the uk. Up to date Driver CPC and Digi-card A good understanding of Tachograph use and aware driver rules and regulations
