Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various routes. This role requires expertise in walking floor work, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a truck to transport materials to designated locations
- Load and unload using appropriate equipment
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with team members
Experience
- Valid HGV Class 1 Licence
- Valid CPC Card
- UK driving licence
- Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1
- Basic English language
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for driving.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
- Excellent time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 48,000.00-53,000.00 per year
