Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team based in Moorends.

This role will include nights out Monday to Friday, carrying our genral haulage accross the UK. We have a growing fleet of vehicles and trailers and an ever increasing customer base which we retain due to our high levels of service.

Duties for the successful candidate would include:
- Safely transporting goods
- Load and unload as required
- Plan routes to meet delivery schedules
- Carry out effective first use checks
- Follow traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle at all times
- Communicate with customers, and colleagues effectively

Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driving licence (HGV Class 1 )
- Proven experience as a tramper driver
- Good driving record - Maximum 6 points NO DR Codes
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills

Basic rate is 13.50 per hour - Guaranteed 50 hours

Weekend rate is 16.50 / hour

Night outs 25 / night with 5 meal allowance
