Job Overview:
Due to expansion, we are currently seeking a reliable and experienced class 1 tramper to join our team. As a tramper you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the UK.?
Duties:
- Safely drive and operate a class 1 HGV to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo ensuring it is secure for transportation
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Skills:
- Valid commercial driving license (CPC),
- Competency in operating commercial vehicles,?
- Knowledge of road safety regulations,
- Ability to handle physical work including loading and unloading,
- Strong organisational and time-management skills,
