Job Summary

We're currently looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramping Driver to join our team. This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy being on the road and want consistent, long-term work.

The hours of work are as required by the needs of the business, Monday to Friday Tramping, UK wide. The role will involve 4/5 nights away from home.

You will be required to run-in on Saturdays, in accordance with the Saturday rota. As much notice as possible will be provided in advance.

Previous experience is beneficial, though not essential as full training will be given.

The salary for this position is made up as below;

Basic 36,554.70pa Nights Out 29.70 per night tax free Overtime 15hr after 50hrs Bonuses potential up-to 4,420pa

Key Responsibilities:

UK-wide deliveries and collections Ensuring timely and safe deliveries Completing necessary paperwork and maintaining accurate records Daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects Staying out Monday to Friday (tramping - nights out required)

Requirements:

Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence. Digital Tachograph card and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification. Previous experience in a similar driving role is preferred Good understanding of road safety regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. A clean driving record (with no more than 6 penalty points on the licence).
