We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Trumper Driver for Amazon work to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various destinations. The ideal candidate will have experience as a delivery driver, particularly with flatbed vehicles, and possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

Operate a lorry to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to weight limits and safety regulations. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) with a clean driving record. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
