Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate various routes effectively.

Duties

Operate a flatbed lorry for the delivery of goods to various locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items on the flatbed. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to management.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles. Strong navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient delivery routes. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. A valid commercial driving licence is essential for this role.
