Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team with as soon as possible.
UK Tramping role
Class 1 driver wanted for Internal UK fridge work to start ASAP.
Based out of Wakefield
Mixture of days and nights. Work days can vary with some weekend days.
Mostly RDC work 1 collection, 1 drop with occasional market/farm collections.
Family run business where you will be valued and trusted to work independently.
Duties
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of vehicle maintenance, and deliveries made. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road to ensure safety for yourself and others. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the lorry at all times.
Qualifications
Class 1 , Proven experience as a commercial driver Fridge work desirable Strong understanding of delivery driver responsibilities and safety protocols. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 45,000.00-51,000.00 per year
