We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 HGV driver to join our team. Family run business where you will be valued and trusted to work independently.
UK Tramping role
Class 1 driver wanted for internal UK Fridge work to start ASAP.
Based out of Wakefield
Mixture of days/nights. Work days can vary with some weekend days.
Mostly RDC work 1 collection, 1 drop with Occasional market/farm collections.
Responsibilities
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries. Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Communicate effectively.
Requirements
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices. Fridge work desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 45,000.00-51,000.00 per year
