Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Class 1 LGV Driver based in Wareham to join our team of drivers in the South region. Starting as soon as possible this is a full time, permanent tanker/vacuum tanker role on day shifts with a 40 hours per week basic contract working every other Saturday. The average number of hours per week is likely to be 55 to 60 hours. There are also plenty of opportunities for regular overtime, for which higher rates of pay apply. You will be carrying out site services in support of a major customer in the oil industry. In addition to this you will be required to work with the main transport department in the Southern region, as the Company reasonably requires.

To apply for the role of LGV Driver you must be an experienced driver with an HGV Class 1 driving licence valid for the UK. You will also need an in-date Driver CPC and digital tacho card. An ADR licence is desirable for this role but not essential as training will be given.

Due to the nature of the business we have an extremely high focus on health, safety and the environment and you must be the sort of person who will embrace this culture. As a driver for Future Industrial Services (part of the Augean Group), you are the face of the company, therefore you must be able to work using you own initiative, have good communication skills and be presentable. As the work is so vast and varied you will also require a flexible approach to working hours within the legal WTD and Drivers Hours limits.

Benefits:

Starting rate 14.48 per hour - non-ADR, time and half for Saturday and double time for Sunday,

this will rise to 14.85 once fully trained with customer.

14.76 per hour ADR time and half for Saturday and double time for Sunday,

this will rise to 15.60 once fully trained with customer.
