Job Description

We are currently looking for an experience HGV Class 1 tramping driver to join our team of drivers in the South region. Starting as soon as possible, this is a full-time, permanent role with 40 hours per week basic contract position reporting to the Transport Manager. This is a tramping role and there may be night outs throughout the week. There are also plenty of opportunities for regular overtime including occasional weekends, for which higher rates of pay apply. This is a vast and varied role whereby no two weeks are the same.

To apply for the role of HGV Driver you must be an experienced driver with an HGV Class 1 driving licence valid for the UK. You will also need an in-date Driver CPC and digital tacho card. An ADR licence is desirable for this role but no essential as training will be given.

Due to the nature of our business we have an extremely high focus on health, safety and the environment and you must be the sort of person who will embrace this culture. As a driver for Future Industrial Services (part of the Augean Group), you are the face of the company, therefore you must be able to work using you own initiative, have good communication skills and be presentable. As the work is so vast and varied you will also require a flexible approach to working hours within the legal WTD and Drivers Hours limits
