Based at Wigan Distribution Centre, Ashton-in-Makerfield
Are you ready to take the next big step in your Transport / Distribution career? At Poundland & Dealz, we're looking for professional, reliable, and motivated HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our busy and expanding team at our Wigan Distribution Centre.
Reporting directly to the Transport Shift Manager / Team Manager, this is your chance to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment where your contributions truly matter. We're seeking drivers who are committed to excellence.
Great Rate and Opportunities
Rotating 6-week rolling shift pattern
Minimum 40 hours per week (with a paid 45-minute break daily)
Minimum Annual Salary from 35,000
Weekend Premium: 2.20 per hour
Night Hours Premium: 1.00 per hour
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x your basic hourly rate
Infringements Bonus: Extra 0.60 per hour after 3 months for zero tachograph infringements and zero at-fault road traffic incidents (paid weekly)

Essentials and requirements

• Hold a valid Class 1 licence and CPC card.
• Always ensure full legal compliance, including carrying all three driver cards and adhering to Drivers' Hours and WTD regulations.
• complete pre- and post-operation vehicle checks, report defects immediately, and maintain accurate, up-to-date tachograph records.
• Carry out store deliveries professionally, ensuring correct paperwork and prompt reporting of incidents to the traffic desk.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, follow all site rules, and always prioritise road safety.
