Job Description
```
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial walking floor vehicle, to transport waste to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and adherence to safety regulations
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips, reporting any mechanical issues or damage
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate with the Transport Office and resolve any issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Proven experience preferred as a truck driver, preferably with Walking floor experience
- Ability to safely operate and manoeuvre large vehicles in various weather and road conditions
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills to interact with the Transport office
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as securing loads
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records
