Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the loading of delivery vehicles. Checking that loads are routinely correct in accordance with delivery paperwork. Completing all necessary paperwork according to the company's Quality System. Securing and sheeting loads as required. Driving to customers following the most efficient route. Following customer site rules and Safe Systems of Work. Working within the Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work that apply to the task being carried out. Taking reasonable care for the health & safety of yourself and others that may be affected by your acts or omissions. Reporting any incident, which has led or could lead to an accident or injury and raising health and safety questions immediately if they occur. Co-operating in the investigation of incidents/accidents to enable measures to be taken to prevent recurrences.
Personal Attributes/Skills Required:

Holding a current and appropriate HGV Class 1 driving licence. Ensuring that all CPC requirements are up to date. Possessing first-rate time management and organisation skills. Proficient at following verbal and written instructions. Able to work very effectually alone and also as part of a team. Effective oral communicator with good interpersonal skills. Demonstrating good written communication and numerical skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
