Golf Car UK, a family orientated company, are Nationwide authorised dealers for E-Z-GO Golf Cars and Cushman Utility Vehicles. We specialise in the long-term rental of golf buggies to golf clubs the length and breadth of the country, whilst supplying Utility vehicles to a wide range of industry sectors including; agriculture, horticulture, schools and universities, construction and holiday parks.

Having recently moved to a new state of the art purpose built HQ at Andover, Golf Car UK has grown over the past eleven years to be the leading National and European supplier of EZGO Golf cars and Cushman Utility vehicles to a wide range of industries throughout the UK, not just Golf, and have experienced considerable year-on-year growth.

We are seeking two additional HGV 1 qualified drivers to join our busy and friendly team doing deliveries of our new and used vehicles around the UK and assisting when required in the workshop environment. This will involve you loading and unloading our vehicles onto your truck and trailer yourself, and dealing directly with our customers at their site during the delivery process.

The role would suit a driver who likes to be at home for all but a few nights a year, and who does not want to be on the road every day, but likes a varied and interesting responsible role. We currently operate 7.5 ton lorries with 3.5 ton trailers, along with a range of other modern vehicles. There will be occasional early starts with early finishes, to avoid heavy traffic.

The ideal candidate should:

- have a full Current HGV1 License
- Have a full valid hours DCPC certificate, (additional top up hours can be provided for the right candidate)
- Be physically fit
- Able to cope with responsibility
- Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge,

- Be capable of working methodically
- Be prepared to have and enjoy a degree of role flexibility within the company
- Comfortably work as part of team or independently as needed
- Be computer literate able to operate a tablet and bespoke company software - training will be given)

Our Standard Hours are 37.5hrs/week, with additional paid hours when required in busy periods
