Ferguson Transport & Shipping are currently recruiting for day shift HGV Drivers in Methil.

With over 60 years of business, Ferguson Transport & Shipping are a well-established haulage company based in Corpach, Fort William. With operating centres in various locations we can offer flexible employment.

Our drivers are required to have the following skills and attributes:

HGV Class 1 driving licence and previous general haulage driving experience An excellent understanding and knowledge of the EU & WT Regulations Fantastic customer service skills. Our customers are key to our success therefore our drivers must represent our company to the highest standards Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with all colleagues Ensuring safe and secure loading of cargo at all times To undertake to complete all necessary daily checks / records and complete the appropriate paperwork as required ADR licence is an advantage, however not essential.

General haulage rates of pay - 11.00 per hour basic & 13.00 hour overtime.

ADR rates of pay - 11.50 per hour basic & 13.50 per hour overtime.

Weekend supplements in place, plus overnight subsistence of 25.43 per night out.
