As part of our growing team, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 1 Driver to join our fuel tanker division.

Job Overview:

As a Class 1 Fuel Tanker Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of fuels to our customers nationwide. You will operate an articulated tanker trailer, adhering to the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport fuels across the UK using an articulated tanker trailer. Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer deadlines. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and compliance documentation. Adhere to all traffic laws, ADR regulations, and company safety policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations. Handle loading and unloading procedures as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence. Valid ADR plus tanks card (training provided for newly qualified ADR drivers). Minimum of 1 year of Class 1 driving experience. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and ADR compliance. Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours as required. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Physically fit to perform loading/unloading tasks and vehicle inspections. A proactive and safety-conscious attitude.
