Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 1 Hiab & ADR Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a focus on commercial driving and delivery operations.

Duties

Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly Secure cargo properly to prevent movement or damage during transit Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with legal requirements Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies at all times Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with Hiab vehicles or similar heavy goods vehiclesAllmi certification is mandatory, Also must have ADR accreditation... Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws within the UK Excellent driving skills with a clean driving licence, ideally with experience in driving long-distance or multi-drop routes Ability to handle delivery schedules efficiently while maintaining safety standards Good organisational skills to manage paperwork, route planning, and vehicle maintenance records Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks when required Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members effectively
This role is for days, nights out or weekend work so the correct candidate must be flexible to suit new contract requirements.
