David Stanley Transport & Lifting Services is a longstanding, friendly, family-run company looking for a category C+E (Class 1) driver / HIAB operator to join our team driving a rigid and drawbar trailer vehicle fitted with a 66t/m rear mounted crane.

ADR qualification prefferred, but training can be offered to the right candidate.

We operate over 25 lorry mounted crane vehicles from Coalville, Leicestershire delivering and collecting portacabins, containers, welfare units, generators, signage and more to many different types of sites throughout the country.

We cover the whole of England, Scotland and Wales although our major customer base is located within the Midlands.

Drivers are required to do an average of 1-2 nights out per week.

Weekend work is optional when available.

Successful applicants will be allocated their own lorry and will only drive that vehicle unless it is in for service or repair, when you will drive a different vehicle but not be expected to night out.

The option to move onto a newer HIAB vehicle would be available after 1 or 2 years of being with the company.

Lorry loader (HIAB) experience/qualification and HGV site delivery experience would be preferred, although full training would be given to the right candidate.

Class 1 HGV licence is essential with a minimum of 2 years HGV driving experience in the UK. ADR qualification is preffered but training can be offered to the right candidate.
