Job Description

We are looking to recruit an

HGV C + E Hook-lift driver

with draw-bar experience. A minimum of 6 months experience is required.

Clean licence preferred (max 3 points). Must hold a valid, up to date Driver CPC Card.

40 hours per week plus overtime - usual working day 7-5 . Alternate Saturday mornings (7-12).

Local work only - no nights out.

Salary 14.70/hour whilst training, 15.99/hour afterwards (this includes 51.75 per week attendance bonus payable for a full weeks attendance) - overtime paid at 22.05 per hour after 40 hours.

28 days paid holiday per annum (incl. bank holidays).

Full uniform is provided.

Responsibilities

Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Document collection details and report any issues or delays to management promptly. Maintain accurate records of driving hours and comply with all relevant regulations. Provide excellent customer service during collections, addressing any customer enquiries or concerns.
