Job Description

We are recruiting for a number of positions we have available for HGV Class 1 drivers, to join our Night Shift team based in Knowsley, trunking loads to Hub's and collecting reloads.

Some shunting duties as and where required.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery truck to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo from the truck
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts and logbooks, are completed accurately and on time
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain a clean and organized truck

Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo
