Extra Men are hiring Class 1 HGV Drivers in Lichfield for immediate starts!

Enjoy weekly pay, guaranteed hours, paid breaks, and up to 70/week in bonuses.

Note: This is ongoing work with guaranteed weekly shifts.

Extra Men Limited are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers around the Lichfield area to support one of our most valued clients: one of the UK's leading names in DIY and Home Improvement products.

Our client offers 10 hours minimum paid hours with a paid break. Plus daily bonus paid and overtime after 10 hours.

You will be responsible for delivering caged goods to retail stores across the UK. The role

involves handball

, with drivers expected to unload caged goods onto the tail lift and push to back doors. Back door staff will take them from there. The trailers are pre-loaded before your arrival, ensuring a smooth start to each shift.

The shift pattern is

Monday-Friday every week, guaranteed bookings.

Our client is looking for start times between either_

02:00 - 04:00 or 11:00 - 16:00

A daily bonus applies to both of these start windows, potentially adding 60 on AM and 70 on PM on a 5 day week.

An overtime rate has now been introduced

After 10 hours per day/50 hours per week

Please note: No alternative start times are currently available.

An assessment is required prior to full site access. Drivers are paid upon passing.

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 Licence held and used for over 1 year No more than 6 penalty points No DD, DR, DG, CC, CD, MS, or IN endorsements Strong communication skills and a professional attitude Punctual, reliable, and respectful of others' time Physically capable and comfortable with handball duties
