We are seeking trampers or day men to join a dedicated and skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team in Southampton. This role is essential for ensuring the timely and safe transportation of goods within the food industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities
Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for the transportation of food products to various locations. Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies during deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients

Qualifications
Valid HGV Class 1 driving license with a clean driving record Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent customer service skills with experience in sales and upselling techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
