Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tipper Driver to join our team on 6-week fixed term basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.

Responsibilities

Collecting and delivering aggregate materials to various sites across the South East. Ensure all loads are safely secured and in line with legal requirements. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and comply with health & safety regulations and company procedures. Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the lorry at all times.

Skills

Valid HGV Class 1 licence Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card Previous tipper driving experience is essential. Flexibility to drive both Rigid and Articulated tippers, Epic Card Holder would be advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients and team members. A commitment to safety and adherence to regulations at all times.
