is recruiting
experienced Class 1 Tramper Drivers
for
ongoing UK-wide container work
. This is a
full-time, permanent position
offering consistent work, regular tramping, and long-term stability within a growing logistics operation.
The Role
Collect containers from major UK ports including
DP World Southampton (Southampton), Portico (Portsmouth), the Port of Felixstowe (Suffolk), London Gateway (Thurrock, Essex), and the Port of Liverpool (Merseyside)
Deliver containers to customer sites nationwide
Primarily Monday to Friday tramping
, with regular nights out
Some weekend work may be required
, depending on operational demand
Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete all required paperwork
Secure loads correctly and operate safely at all times
Comply fully with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
Requirements
Valid
HGV Class 1 (C+E)
licence
Driver CPC
and
Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 3 years' HGV driving experience
(essential)
Previous container and port work experience (preferred)
Port access cards (e.g. DP World, Portico) advantageous
Comfortable with regular nights out and occasional weekend work
Professional attitude with good communication and time management skills
