Job Description

We are the UK's leading manufacturer of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), operating from a purpose built factory in Bradford, West Yorkshire. With over 30 years experience of supplying EPS for packaging, insulation and construction applications, we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and services provided to our customers.

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 HGV Tramper Driver to join our team.

As an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our bespoke goods to our customers.

As a tramper you may be required to stay overnight in your vehicle for up to 4 nights per week for which you will receive an additional overnight payment.



Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

Operating HGV Class1 vehicles in compliance with UK road safety regulations

Conducting pre and post trip vehicle inspections.

Ensuring secure and efficient loading and unloading of goods.

Providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a professional manner.

Communicating effectively with the dispatch team.

Requirements


Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence

Valid Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card

A minimum of 2 years of HGV Class 1 experience

Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude

Flexibility to work various hours and work nights out if required.

Benefits



45 hour a week contract

Overtime paid at 16.50.

Overnights paid at 26.20.

Monday to Friday - Day shifts (No weekend working)

Annual Christmas shut down period with additional 1 day gifted.

Pay: 14.00-16.50 per hour
